WOTS Training

An essential component of Word on the Street is our training program, which develops entrepreneurial, social and financial skills for our homeless participants to help them rebuild their lives. We are working in partnership with local shelters, job training organizations and non-profit partners.

WOTS Magazine

Word on the Street is centered on a street magazine that enables homeless individuals to earn a profit while gradually rebuilding their lives. The magazine has a lot of support from some of Honolulu's most talented writers, designers, editors and organizations.

WOTS Community

Word Community works with local shops, community organizations, neighborhood boards, HPD and other groups to help our homeless vendors be as successful as possible. We develop strong and positive relationships with the community where we are active and actively recruit support from all relevant stakeholders.
